FUMC YOUTH
We are a very active youth group with activities happening almost every weekend. Please be sure to contact us with any questions you may have about upcoming dates. Our regular youth meeting times are as follows:
Sunday School
Every Sunday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
Sunday Youth
11:45 a.m. - Dine-A-Mite (Lunch provided to youth free of charge)
12:15 p.m. - Combined youth choirs for those wanting to participate. (We have a wonderful choir program)
1:15 p.m. Youth time (Unless there is a special event or occasion. Check our weekly newsletter or upcoming dates for more information)
Wednesday Night Fellowship
During the school year, family fellowship night starts with dinner at 5:15 p.m. and youth meets from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Check the newsletter for dates.
When there is no family fellowship, we will plan youth events to spend time together in fellowship.

We are located right on the corner of 2nd Street and Pennsylvania in Roswell, NM.
I teach during the school year and I am out with the youth a lot, so my office hours are hard to keep track of. I can meet with anyone when needed though, so please do not hesitate to call to arrange a meeting time.
Upcoming Events
February 18th-
Tour Time- We will be going to Ruidoso for
tubing on Saturday and Sunday night. The 19th is also Amalia's
birthday so we would make it into a birthday party for her Sunday
night. Monday is a school holiday and we have been blessed to have
the McDevitt family offer for us to use their cabin as well as use
of the Methodist church in Ruidoso, so we will be able to keep the
cost low for this fun fellowship time. We can celebrate our
wrestlers' successes from the State Tournament also! Good times!
February 24th (Saturday at 2:00pm)-
Intentionally Invite- Our Fear Factor day!
Alamogordo will be joining us.
I need adults to help with this, so please save the
date and plan to attend if possible. Start inviting now.
March 2-4th- Junior High ROC weekend. Once again,
I am in need of someone to lead Sunday School and youth this Sunday
to avoid cancelling.
March 10th- Spring Break trip- Finalizing details
still to be done, but looking at a trip to the Grand Canyon and
doing a mission project at a reservation in Arizona. Should be an
opportunity that
no one will want to miss.
March 18th- Recovery week from Spring Break
March 25th-
Mandatory Meeting
April 1st-
Enjoy and Entertain Event- This will be our event
where we invite the whole congregation. Still looking into ideas for
this Sunday.
April 8th- Easter (No Youth or choir after church)
